Community Appreciation BBQ

The inaugural Community Appreciation Barbecue was held on June 1, 2023. TriCounty Health Department recognizes how much the community does to support public health and to thank the community we decided to hold a barbecue with bounce houses, music and face painting. This event is free to the public and will rotate throughout the Basin each year to give each community we serve an opportunity to meet staff, and feel appreciated by us.

Walking Challenge

Join us every summer as we walk towards 10K steps a day. The walking challenge lasts 6 weeks and includes a weekly walk together with information on health and wellness, prizes and a grand finale walk with bigger prizes for those who participated in the weekly challenges.

The challenge also aims to encourage families to walk together by offering incentives for children. Each week we hide painted prize rocks in local parks and walking trails that can be redeemed for smaller prizes perfect for kids.

We hope that you will accept our challenge and make fun memories while taking steps towards a healthy lifestyle every week this summer.
